Meet Nigel Madziyire, the 19-year-old founder of NutriCharge ZW — a youth-led social enterprise born in Zimbabwe and built to transform Africa’s food future.

“I grew up knowing what it felt like to have potential but no platform. After high school, I found myself like many other young Zimbabweans — locked out of opportunity, despite having the hunger to build. I was hired for a tutoring job, then let go before I ever taught a class — because my exam scores weren’t “good enough.”That rejection became my redirection. I launched NutriCharge in March 2025 as a blueprint to tackle hidden hunger, youth unemployment, and post-harvest waste — three problems we often talk about separately, but that are deeply connected.” - Nigel Madziyire, Founder

Problems We Refuse to ignore

2+ billion people suffer from micronutrient deficiency. Many are eating, but not nourishing

In Zimbabwe, over 14% of youth are unemployed — often sidelined before they ever get a chance.

Farmers lose up to 30% of their crops due to poor storage. Their labor never reaches the table.
